Manufacturing labels

Manufacturing Label data is automatically generated. A Box Label and a Pallet Label come standard with minimal choices.

You can change the label name to be something different than the customer name, but you must define the name if you make that selection.

If your Product Line is an electric product, you can further customize the labels. After Electric, Honeywell, or Aclara is selected, on the MFG Labels tab you will see a drop-down with several set choices for Label Type to choose from. If you want further customization, you must select either the Custom Box Label check box or the Custom Pallet Label check box and then upload a .lab file defining your choices.

Note: Before selecting any type of customization, talk to your MTS about the implications of creating custom labels.

The following is an example of an ally label. You can see where the serial numbers will auto-generate from the information provided in the system, as well as the Configuration Profile information if your product requires it.
